Seth Rogen Says He Was Planning a Film Similar to Failed Fyre Festival

Fyre Festival: The Movie?

Seth Rogen
has taken to Twitter to say that he and his The Lonely Island musical comedy group – which consists of Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone – were planning a film with a very similar plot to the real life failed music festival.

“This seems like a good time to mention the movie we are making with @thelonelyisland about a music festival that goes HORRIBLY WRONG,” the 35-year-old actor tweeted.

The Lonely Island‘s account then quoted Seth‘s tweet along with writing “For real, thinking about suing #FyreFestival for stealing our idea.”

The Fyre Festival was cancelled after reports of terrible conditions, poor housing, and more.

It’s not clear if Seth is being serious or if he was just joking.
